A tip for anyone new in the industry/ trying to get into speaking etc - if they say you’ll add value to their event then they should pay you.
If you want to donate your time for free do it at a community event. Not one that makes money or generates leads.
You’re worth more

Supply chain cyber attacks are rising, yet only a fraction of UK businesses assess these risks. Cyber Essentials significantly reduces exposure to common attacks. For information on how to embed Cyber Essentials within your supply chain ⬇️

A wet end to the day with rain continuing to cross the country ☔
Rain turning patchier later, with blustery showers following behind in Scotland 🌧️

Still a couple of hours or so of these beefy showers to move through before the weather begins to improve. Much warmer and drier this afternoon with some decent sunny spells (with just the odd rogue shower still). A day of two halves.

It won't just be the rain you'll notice this week, rising humidity will bring a muggy feel to the air, plus some warmer nights 🥵

The final week of summer will be very different to what much of the summer has been like. A series of low pressure systems bring a chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms which will most likely last into the bank holiday weekend. But will it be a total wash out?

That ENE wind brings a different feel to the weather down the eastern side of the UK today. Some places struggling to 21°C. The #heatwave continues elsewhere. 28°C in Plymouth already.

Staying very warm/hot for the next 5-7 days. #heatwave

There's more rain on the way this week 🌧️
It won't be raining all the time but showers are likely for many, with Thursday looking like the wettest day. Totals will build as the week goes on👇

A few showers about now. A heavy one here has put the end to my gardening. 🙄

A good chance of an aurora across northern Scotland tonight 🌠
Being the start of summer, it'll stay relatively light for longer so could be difficult to see with the naked eye
