@RealTVG @TheResident It's a dogmatic catastrophe when we cannot compromise. Maybe I'm wrong about that.--Amen

My coworker's mother passed away last November. She left her modest $190,000 house to him clear and free, no mortgage, completely paid off after thirty years of factory work. He moved into the home in January to finally settle the estate. Two weeks ago, a letter arrived from the state Medicaid estate recovery office. Because his mother spent four months in a rehabilitation facility before she passed, the state quietly slapped a retroactive $114,000 lien against the property title. He called the state health department, frantic, asking how a hospital stay could bankrupt an inherited home that had no mortgage balance. The caseworker sighed and told him: "Federal law requires state programs to claw back healthcare costs from deceased estates. The house cannot be sold or transferred until the balance is cleared in full." He offered to pay a monthly settlement. They said no. The full $114,000 is due in 60 days, or they foreclose on the property at a public auction. A lifetime of working-class savings, wiped out overnight by a retroactive healthcare lien. You don't own generational wealth. You're just holding a property title until the state finds a legal mechanism to repossess it the moment you die.

All you people with the blue checks... What exactly are you paying $10 a month for? The blue check was initially created to verify prominent users, it was free This one doesn't seem to verify anything but your credit card

It’s 2075. There is only one hospital in the entire country. It is 8 square miles in the middle of Kansas and owned by United Healthcare. Premiums are $47,000 per month. The only medications left are Ozempic and boner pills. Life expectancy is 38. Government: “I can’t believe doctors did this to us.”

The Sackler "family was very secretive about what they owned, but at the same time they liked having their name slathered all over art museums and educational institutions. They were very frank about how philanthropy is different than charity - it was an investment in status and power. (And buying protection against criticism.)" #Purdue Nice short review of "Empire of Pain." creditbubblestocks.com/2026/…

Polyethylene is the world's most produced plastic - shopping bags, milk jugs, cutting boards. It is also one of the hardest to recycle because it requires high temperatures or expensive catalysts to break its carbon chains. On September 21 2026, Oak Ridge National Laboratory published a process using inexpensive aluminium-based molten salts that breaks polyethylene into smaller hydrocarbon molecules at relatively mild temperatures. Output: approximately 60% gasoline-range molecules, with diesel and other products making up the rest. This does not solve plastic waste. But it converts a material with almost no recycling infrastructure into a fuel that can enter existing distribution systems - with no sorting required.

When JFK was running for president, Israel's lobbyists approached him and said we'll give you all the money you need to win, if you let us control your foreign policy. JFK said no and when elected, moved to force the precursor org to AIPAC to register as a foreign lobbyist, subject to rules and limitations thereof. So Israel dissolved that and created the "American" AIPAC to get around legislation. JFK was also furious that Israel was building a nuclear power plant and suspected theiy were developing weapons. Israel stalled on responding to the request for inspections - and then JFK was dead. This photo is of course AI. But it basically conveys the message.
