Tough day After 38 years at The Sacramento Bee, I was part of sweeping company layoffs. My last day is Oct. 9. I love my job & my role in the community. I thank coaches, athletes, media & especially readers & followers. I’m not done working. I’m excited about what’s next.

Rivercities Baseball Initiative hosted our first watch party at Birdie's in WSac with Mayors Kevin McCarty & Martha Guerrero. A huge assist from the A's who donated memorabilia for our silent auction. RBI is helping make PERMANENT Major League Baseball a reality in Sacramento.
