Russia’s advance in Ukraine has gone into reverse.
Between March and September, Russia lost almost 300 km² more territory than it captured, according to the Institute for the Study of War.
In September alone, Ukraine reported 46,320 Russian casualties. For that, Moscow gained, at best, no ground.
Ukrainian courage and innovation, backed by allied weapons, are breaking the assumption that Putin can grind his way to victory.
This is the moment to press the advantage. More weapons. Faster deliveries. Sustained pressure on Russia’s war economy.
Putin is counting on Western fatigue to rescue him. We must not oblige.

Around 300 people work at the INEOS acetyls plants at Saltend in Hull, with some 4,000 more jobs across the Humber supply chain reported to depend on them.
Dave McCobb, Lib Dem peer, has challenged the Government to step in and restart all three plants.
I’d question whether some of these individuals on the photo, would be allowed to run for the @Conservatives 🤔

Bizarre from @reformparty_uk considering we seem to hear a lot from Reform on the BBC.

I feel profoundly sad for the Greens that joined a party thinking they were going to be environmentalists and have found themselves surrounded by antisemitism.
I am also appalled at the cowardice displayed by their leader, who chose not to lead, but to hide.
If you’re a Green Party member and your political foundation is rooted in equality for all, as well as being a proud custodian of our natural world, you can find your political home in the Liberal Democrats.
