Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atlanta to go to a Hawks game and collude with Fani Willis, and briefly displayed his "evidence" on a poster board before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- Schmitt's facts were totally wrong. Smith was actually in Maryland at a Hawkeyes (not a Hawks) game and never met Willis. As Klobuchar told him, "You have your teams wrong."

We have arrived in Baton Rouge. A little later than expected because we had a small car crash on the way. Nothing serious though, everyone is fine.
On a positive note, we saw this sign welcoming us back to Baton Rouge. I was on my phone when one of my friends suddenly screamed, “I swear to God, that sign just said ‘Welcome back Freddy’.”

As most people have probably figured out by now, we’re on our way to Baton Rouge to watch LSU vs Texas A&M on Saturday. We visited that place during our World Cup trip and locals told us how crazy it gets, so seeing a game there was one of the main things we wanted to do on this trip.

Riding back from Mississippi thoughts...
It didn't feel great last night, and this team has definite issues, but you can see the respect for LSU that others still have as they stay in the Top 10.
Think about how bad we all felt like the LSU offense played and it still required some remarkable play by a tremendous QB and some amazing catches from his receivers to beat LSU at home.
Injuries are starting to mount, offensive line play, especially at guard are a problem and Leavitt has to settle down and start to trust his line or Lane and Charlie will have to do a much better job of getting the ball out quicker.
I haven't had a chance to see the TV video, but from the field it felt like Chambliss was carving up LSU in zone coverage, not sure why they stayed in it as long as they did with no real effective pass rush. Seemed like a doomed concept from the start.
Not totally surprised that this team is still figuring it out, that was just game three. And now with the injuries, that will continue. I would love to see 1-2 LSU receivers emerge as playmakers for this team as well.
