NYP: Super PAC Propping Up “Decoy Dan” Sullivan in Alaska
A mysterious super PAC propping up retired teacher Dan J. Sullivan in Alaska’s closely watched Senate race is funded by progressive donors, new financial disclosures reveal
Dan J. Sullivan, aka “Decoy Dan,” shares the same first and last name as incumbent Sen. Dan S. Sullivan (R-AK) and is listed on the ballot as a Republican despite voting against Donald Trump in each of the past three presidential elections.

I know I'm old and in "off my lawn" territory but officiating in the NFL and college is getting appreciably worse year after year....and technology doesn't seem to be helping.

Maybe @DavidJollyFL can wear a secret camera into Florida Democrat HQ, get some undercover footage of their fundraising operation, then whore himself out to 60 Minutes with said footage to whine about fundraising before fundraising off the segment, again.
To sum up the defense: “yes he took the money. From a contractor. On video and a wire. But he didn’t actually influence anything as an elected official. After taking the money. On video. From a contractor. To influence policy.”
Quite the redemption.
D.C. Councilmember Trayon White spoke after a judge declared a mistrial in his federal bribery case, saying he feels “redeemed again” after what he called one of the hardest two years of his life.

The fact that the #Commanders can't build off of this special win and the fan base being back today, because they have to go to London for a home game, just stinks.
At least one player that I talked to was not happy about it. Long flight, everything is disjointed.
For a marketing trip. Sorry. @team980

Redskin greats honored at halftime and a @Commanders victory at home knocking off the reigning SB champs. 🤙 Mariota. Hail.
Call me old fashioned, but for my entire life a women being pregnant has been a solely and uniquely binary question. For both women….and men.
And I really don’t think that’s changing, regardless of what the New Yorker or anyone else says.
Pregnancy tests draw a misleading, somewhat arbitrary, binary between a state of being pregnant and not being pregnant. You can be kind of pregnant, a little bit pregnant, or almost pregnant, or maybe pregnant, and still test positive for pregnancy. Pregnancy tests, particularly at-home urine tests, capture a moment in time at which an embryo has implanted and is interfacing with the uterus in some way. “We define how we understand the beginning of pregnancy based on this snapshot, but such a freeze-frame contains limited information,” Apoorva Tadepalli writes. With the timing of the stupid J6 “oppo drop” this morning I’m betting the Dems’ polling looks a lot like this.
MINNESOTA POLL - Senate

🟥 Michele Tafoya: 42%
🟨 Other: 4%

Wonder what that reporter would be saying if she was on the airplane that…. (checks notes) emergency landed in a lake? Let alone how she would report/talk about it.
(Actually I don’t really wonder)
Replying to @RantyAmyCurtis
A reporter for @journalsentinel — @hopekarnopp — spent her Saturday night/Sunday morning fact checking the depth of the lake.
She *minimized* what happened to Tiffany and his pilot.
Why?
Because Tiffany is a Republican.

Twenty-five years later, some moments are impossible to forget.
On the eve of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, former President George W. Bush visited FDNY Ladder Company 3 on Thursday—the firehouse whose apparatus was so badly damaged in the collapse of the World Trade Center that it never returned to service. Today, that rig is preserved at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum.
President Bush spoke with members about the days and years that followed the attacks.
The bullhorn speech at Ground Zero. That unforgettable first pitch at Yankee Stadium. And the people who stood together when our city—and our country—needed them most.
A quarter-century has passed, but the memories remain. #NeverForget
So says the Member of Congress who repeatedly voted to shut down the government over the past year....
Speaker Johnson doesn't seem too concerned about working for the American people. He's canceled so many voting days that Congress is only in D.C. for 36 days TOTAL between July and the end of the year.
I've asked my staff to fill my calendar with district events – because you should see your Member of Congress working, no matter what the Speaker of the House says.
After lecturing us for 10+ years about "protecting democracy" Jeffries is big mad at two of his own members for voting for a house rule.
Ironically, Golden is retiring because he was going to lose & MGP will lose because they voted the crazy Dem party line for years.
Hey .@AmericanAir 4 flights this week in/out of Reagan, 4 delayed, 3 after boarding, inc current flight which was deplaned. Your app was/is wrong in timing, updates, information — we are not, in fact, currently boarding after deplaning.
So, this will be my last AA flight.
This. RIP.
RIP to an absolute legend & maybe the most universally beloved person left in America by the end of her life. Dolly lived many incarnations: performer, songwriter, collaborator, sex symbol, actress, theme park impresario, philanthropist. She embodied Southern pluck & the tireless, unpretentious ethic of classic country music.
