Any I'm still connected to everyone in this production. A very interesting piece to work on. Every line had multiple meanings and no meaning.
On this day in 2015 we produced a scratch performance of Dagestan – a new play by @stevenjfowler set in the shadowy world of global security. It feels, sadly, ever more relevant.

Norway has a £1 trillion + wealth fund for ordinary people, built over many years by taxing fossil fuel giants at 78%.
Last year alone Norway collected $89bn in tax from fossil fuel giants.
They then used that fund to pay people’s energy bills.
There is another way.

It would take the average UK worker more than 32,000 years to make what British Gas just made in 6 months.
This is a cost-of-greed crisis — and millions of people are paying the price.
There is an alternative: bring energy into democratic public ownership!

British Gas just reported record profits: £969,000,000 in 6 months, nearly 10x what it made last year.
Your sky-high bills are their obscene profits.
It's time to bring energy into public ownership, running it to meet your needs, not their greed.

Let's be totally clear. Pay deals for workers do not have to come from higher taxes on everyone or from cuts to public services elsewhere, as the PM claims.
The wealth of UK billionaires is up £438 BILLION in the past decade.
Fund pay through a Wealth Tax on the super-rich!

You have paid for the NHS, it needs £36bn to perform at 2010 levels, when it was the best in the world.
Government corruption is £217bn.
There is no money for the NHS because they have stolen it.

Junior doctors' pay has fallen by 26% since 2008.
In that same time, UK billionaires saw a decade where their wealth went up £438,000,000,000.
So don't let anyone tell you there's not enough money for a fair pay rise.
That's why today I again stood with striking doctors 👊🏽

MP salaries have risen by £20,000 since 2011
We are asking for full pay restoration for almost the same period of time.
So @SteveBarclay can you explain why all MPs are worth a £20k pay increase but junior doctors are not?
📢 @DHSCgovuk responds to @BMA_JuniorDocs saying 35% pay rise ask is unreasonable - Negotiations will only happen if BMA is "prepared to move significantly from this ask" and if it suspends strikes and agrees to talks in private. #JuniorDoctorsStrike

Rishi Sunak said he would release his Tax Returns by last Christmas to prove that he pays tax.
He hasn’t, and he doesn’t.
Someone who doesn’t pay tax shouldn’t be able to be an MP, and definitely not the PM.
RT if you agree.

Albert Einstein warned in 1949 that the time would come when the very rich so controlled the means of communication that it would be almost impossible for ordinary people to make informed decisions and so democracy would then be broken
We live in the time Einstein warned about

The Conservatives just blocked my Bill to give the public the power to call a General Election when the majority have lost faith in the Government, as they have now.
We should modernise our democracy to stop failing Governments from clinging on when the people have had enough.
