I see that Dave Stevens work’s been going around comic book Twitter…
I don’t own one comic with him as an artist or even as a cover artist, but I do own this Spaniard COMIX magazine with a great cover and some nice pieces of art as part of an interview.
Cool I think.

When Jack Kirby died, I sat down and drew this. For some reason, I felt I wasn't worthy of posting any sort of tribute, so I shelved it. Here it is 30 years later. I'm now closer to his age at death than mine when I drew it.

Can confirm, at least on the comic book side: when I was assigned Punisher & Emma Frost/X-Men at Marvel I was advised that I didn't need to understand the comics or the current continuity; self-insert character. The sad thing was: these were f**king comics I read as a child anyhow!

Giving this a bump. I have about a week left and I'm only about a third of the way to my goal! Any help appreciated!
Hi there! Made some art to advertise my run for the Polar Bear Plunge! Please help me out and support a great cause. I have 2 weeks to meet my goal of $1500. Every little bit helps! Here's the link: support.somd.org/fundraiser/…

Probably a few better reasons to quit smoking, or even better, not start, but if this is helps, so be it!

There was a strong rumour for a while that "the female Ghost Rider" would be in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. Was looking forward to see Alejandra on the screen. Didn't happen. Alas.

Got paid royalties that were owed to me (and the artist). No mention of it for years from the publisher until chased.
I’m going to spend part of it to fund someone’s unpublished comic. No strings.
Fuck exploitative publishing. Make art. Pay people. Watch this space.

I never worked with Peter but I’ve admired him as a writer for decades. As someone who’s experienced similar health burdens but been lucky enough to have great health insurance through the #WGA, this breaks my heart. Help the man.

I picked up both of these FANTASTIC anthologies during the Kickstarters and can confirm they are worth checking out!
You’ll even get the very first comic story by the very talented @renfamous in the first book!
