I would put Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, and Lou Gehrig in that category. Rogers Hornsby being the greatest right handed hitter of all time. But Ted Williams is the greatest hitter of all time.

Ya, in my opinion Mantle & T Williams were the 2 best hitters on earth. Mantle was hurt by injuries & still great, Williams left for 4 yrs in his prime to go fight in a war & he was still great.

Ya, thats why the Chipper Jones post made me laugh. They claimed .300avg, 400hrs, Chipper is the only 1 ever. Meanwhile Mantle was .298 with 536 hrs, yet the .002 in average was a way to sku reality.

A 1982 NHL All-Star and 40-goal scorer, he finished his 12-season NHL career with 274 goals and 346 assists. Duguay was flashy, but he was tough. Just watch him take on Philadelphia’s Dave Poulin on April 9, 1983. I hope the Rangers organization can mend its relationship with Ron and take a moment to honor him on a broadcast. The Yankees best bet for 2027 is to make Judge DH for at least 100 games a year, protect him from injuries. Make 2027 the year that Rice figures out how to play 1st Base at a respectable level. Stanton needs to be DFAd, no more clogging the DH spot. #Yankees

The idea that the Rangers desperately need a goalie right now is ridiculous. We’re still early in the season, the Rangers can wait until the deadline to see how Garand is still doing if by then he’s incompetent then they can make a move at the deadline.
