Question for #voiceactor on X. Do y'all get casted for stuff you completely forgot about? Happened to me today. Got casting for a child character I sent an audition for back in March of this year. Haha! Hey, not complaining.

you aren't owed anything in the VO industry . many times I have seen people whine and moan about not getting roles by blaming *other* people for their lack of opportunities, or thinking you are owed your shot just bc you've been doing VO for a long time that means nothing 🧵

I almost forgot it is my grandmother‘s 93rd birthday. She is having to spend it in the hospital due to her doctors not paying attention to the warning signs and all that but she is in good spirits. I would appreciate happy birthday wishes for her 93rd. May she have many more!

So, what, we’re using a 12 year old child’s death as a way to increase the price of a fucking Pokémon card??? I’m utterly disgusted. Fuck scalpers and resellers.
