I’ve been away from Fox 9 a bit lately. Here’s why: My wife, Tracy, is battling metastatic breast cancer. It was discovered in her lumbar vertebrae one year ago. Over the past two months, she’s lost her ability to walk.

Chemo initially worked, but this spring the tumors began growing again, despite every chemo they’ve thrown at it. Last week, she started 10 sessions of daily radiation at Mayo Clinic: far more powerful and precise than what she’s had before. The daily drive is a no-brainer.

The initial goal is relieving pressure on her lumbar nerves, easing pain and hopefully restoring some lost mobility. Mayo is reviewing other treatment options, as well. They're truly amazing. I'll be back on Fox 9 soon, and will keep you posted. Yes, cancer sucks.

The Montreal Canadiens are coming unglued, and this series appears to be over (Gift Article)

After scheduled tour of the Whipple, Congresswomen Craig and Omar say holding cells were completely empty. They were told everyone was moved out a half hour before they got there. But also told there are only about 20 detentions per day now and are quickly moved to county jails.

They were also told by the acting director here that the current level of federal agents is down to 500 (from 3000 surge), Tom Homan is back in DC, and there are now two deportation flights a week instead of daily.

FRAVEL TRIAL: defense begins closing argument by going over why they believe law enforcement had tunnel vision, only focusing on Adam Fravel for Maddi Kingsbury's murder, ignoring anything that didn't fit that narrative.
