On the Israeli election’s effect on the West Bank: "If Netanyahu wins, the settlers are going to be doing celebratory pogroms. If Eisenkot wins, they’re going to be doing revenge pogroms. Heads I win, tails you lose."
New Interview: I talked to the journalist Jasper Nathaniel about what he witnessed in the West Bank when the WaPo’s Heidi Levine & multiple Palestinians were attacked by Israeli settlers, as well as what’s been happening there before the Israeli election. newyorker.com/news/q-and-a/b…

U.S. support from Israeli is entirely a function of oligarchy. A small number of Jewish billionaires who worship psychotic Israeli Jewish supremacy have taken over and distorted our politics. Enough.
A candidate for the U.S. Senate says Israel is not America's friend.
I'm Israeli. I grew up in Israel. My family is Israeli. And I can tell you this: Few nations hold America as close to their hearts as Israelis do. Fact: Israelis admire America. 81% of Israelis view the United States favorably - the highest percentage among 36 countries surveyed by Pew in 2026. Who else in the Middle East does?
No other U.S. ally can have 200 fighter jets in the sky in 3 hours notice. Modest compared with America's military might, certainly. But backed by something more important: a profound commitment to the United States, regardless of who occupies the White House. Security is real. Capabilities are real. And friendship is real too. This candidate understands nothing of it. He is trying to pick up votes through hate.
None of this requires defending Netanyahu. None of it requires endorsing everything Israel has done in recent years.
It requires understanding one fact: Israel America's most enduring ally in the Middle East.
Criticizing an Israeli government is legitimate. Pretending Israel is America's enemy is something else entirely.
Any other notion is just bigotry masquerading as conspiracy theory- or conspiracy theory masquerading as bigotry.

Little-known fact: kids in Iran and Yemen are especially fond of inflatable bounce castles shaped like MLRS launchers, fighter jets and radars. Just a cultural preference.

Let’s use tricks to steal the frozen Russian assets - FT
Roughly €185 billion in immobilised Russian central-bank assets sit in Euroclear. It belongs to Euroclear.
Euroclear has said it would go to court to stop the EU stealing their money (which they hold for Russia).
So, the EU had a great idea: Create a bad bank and ask Euroclear to transfer €185bn to this bank.
The bank would pass the money to Zelensky personally and then go bankrupt, immediately.
Euroclear would be in the clear, because they were unable to foresee such an event. When Russia (together with Trump) sues Europe, they will point to the bankrupt bank.
Both EU politicians and the piece writers at the FT think that this is a glorious idea. They should all be fired. 🤮

'I think the donors are smitten with anyone who goes around throwing around terms like “Sharia” and “Sunni” and “the Caliphate” and this and the other thing, because they are so separated from the concerns of ordinary people. And it makes both the half-wits like Rubio and his donors feel like big intellectual global strategists, striding the globe, rearranging things. But every time they rearrange things, it’s an unmitigated disaster.'

Of all the horrors inflicted on Palestinians here’s yesterday’s Israeli hilltop settlers creeping to a Palestinian farm and eviscerate baby lambs, cutting off heads and leaving some crying in agony before dying. Message clear to the farmers: leave or this is you next.

🔴 Gaza’s Education Ministry said Sunday that Israeli forces have killed three schoolchildren in less than 24 hours. Tamer Shadi Subh was shot dead in northern Gaza’s Beit Lahia while in his tent. With no ambulance or vehicle available, his brother had to carry his body on his shoulders to the hospital.
With no ambulance and no car to carry him, his brother lifted him onto his shoulders and walked. Tamer Shadi Subh, a schoolboy, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation army on Sunday in the Tal Al-Dhahab area of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. Three years of genocide have left families without even a way to bring their dead to the hospital.
Gaza’s Ministry of Education mourned Tamer as the third schoolchild killed by the Israeli occupation in less than 24 hours, after Mohammed Riyad Abu Hammad and little Misk Hazem Al-Dalu, who was shot when Israeli forces opened fire on displaced families’ tents in Al-Maghazi camp. The ministry warned that the road to school in Gaza has become a road to death, and called on the UN and UNICEF to act to protect Gaza’s students. Five Palestinians were killed across Gaza on Sunday, two of them children, and the death toll since the ceasefire has now passed 1,511.

Every night, Israeli soldiers fire bullets at the tents of displaced Palestinians for entertainment, and Palestinian civilians are killed day after day while sleeping inside their tents.
Tonight, an innocent little girl Misk Al-Dalo was killed, becoming yet another victim of Israeli brutality in Gaza.
Please share this video in every language so the world can see what is happening and this senseless killing of Palestinian lives can finally stop.
