It’s SES Week! 🧡🧡
From 9-17 September, we take the chance to say #ThankYouSES not only for keeping Queensland communities safe, but for all your contributions to QFES.
Across the world these conversations are happening and we’re making progress - getting ahead of the curve any way we can means lives and livelihoods are saved - that is the only reason we need. Thanks for sharing @DrLoriUSFA.

It was great to witness this generational change in how we prepare for bushfires. When coupled with the Australian Warning System, and the dedicated fire and emergency services sector, communities will be better equipped to make the right decisions wherever they are.
We're proud to launch the Australian Fire Danger Rating System today alongside @NSWRFS @BOM_au EMA & our state & territory fire agencies.
From tomorrow the system will deliver nationally consistent fire danger ratings backed by enhanced data & information. firedangerratings.com.au

I was touched to be able to accept such wonderful gift on behalf of the team who deployed to Canada in 2021. International partnerships are vital for us to continue to develop and it was great to continue the strong partnership with our @CIFFC friends.
