Coach Diaz and Downers velo camp has wrapped up and to say it was a success is and understatement! Each individual player averaged a velo jump of 6MPH on there Pulldown and 4MPH off the mound. #settheexample #keepsluggin
Prioritize your choices and concentrate your efforts. Success follows where you direct your attention.

Life can be seen as a rental experience, where everything comes with a cost. Maintaining a sound body, mind, and spirit requires effort and investment. Each day, we must wake up and "pay the rent" to nurture and enhance these aspects of ourselves.
All men experience fear. The difference lies in their actions under pressure. What the winner does makes him victorious, while the coward's inaction defines him. Save giving up for the cowards.
Do or do not—there is no trying. It takes whatever it takes to get it done. Trying is an excuse; winners are all in. Obsessed, unapologetic, and relentlessly aggressive. Do the work that it takes.

I am excited to announce my commitment to Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Big thank you to Coach Bennecke, Coach Hemingway @jhemingway3, Coach Quartermaine, and Coach Chisolm for everything. I am very grateful for this opportunity! #GoCougs @KVCC_Baseball
You must have internal drive. If you don’t have it you will quit. If you have it you won’t quit. Internal drive is not manufactured with your feelings and emotions. Those lie to you. Find a way to drive yourself without the need externals and how you’re feeling.
Fear is fuel. It can either drive your creation or your destruction. The choice is yours—use it wisely.
‘If only I had time. If only I had support. If only I had better.’ That mindset won’t get you far. Stop waiting for the perfect conditions and start believing, ‘I’m the one who can get it done.’ No one will back you until u show ur ready to do whatever it takes.

Unchosen suffering is an inevitable part of life. The only way to prepare for it is by choosing daily suffering. Choosing to do hard things daily callouses the mind/body for when unchosen hard things arise. You may not have chosen the fight, but you better be ready to finish it
Self-discipline is about doing what needs to be done, even when you don’t feel like it. It’s about silencing excuses and pushing past emotions. Do the work, and you’ll be ahead of 99% of the competition. Just do the work.
Showing up gets you ahead of 50% of the competition. Showing up with intent and focused work takes you past another 40%. The last 10%? That’s where the real dawgs finish the job. Do. Your. Job.
The world is a fool’s paradise, camouflaged and filled with traps, preying on those who stray from strong morals, virtues, and values. Stay steadfast in what you know to be right and just. With these principles, you can stand firm and ready. Hammer down and be on guard.
You cannot go halfway. Go all the way In the end, it’s you vs you. If you cannot convince yourself that it’s possible; no one else will believe in you. Moderation is for cowards. Do the work.
Want to be great? Who doesn’t. But are you ready to do what others won’t? Make sacrifices. It’ll feel like the finish line keeps moving further away. You’ll get to know failure well. Many won’t believe in you. You’ll have to trade good habits for great ones. This is the way.
To surpass others and your former self, do what others won't and what you once wouldn’t. Growth is painful, which is why many speak of success but few achieve it. Winners win and losers lose.
