Great insight and great work! Intel with style @scotsrule08
Special Field Correspondent @scotsrule08 visited @Waymo's future @Avis depot in Dallas, where roughly 40 DC fast charging points are going in under new canopies, with paver driveways and vehicle ramps already built.
At Waymo's operational depot a few miles away, the chargers sit on skids and appear to run on generators, not the grid.

In London, @Uber scored a London hat-trick with @Wayve_AI, @Baidu_Inc, and @PonyAI_tech. But order a ride and you don't know who you're going to get. It's The Strange Case of Dr. Autonomous Supervised and Mr. Human Driven.
Bans, Borders, and Builds: autonomy continues to draw scrutiny both good and bad. See the signals through the noise on it all on this week’s episode!
The Minneapolis City Council voted 7-6 to require a human to sit in the driver's seat of an unsupervised robotaxi.
@MayorFrey vetoed it, calling it a back door ban. Even though the ordinance was vetoed, it could be the start of a wave of political uncertainty for robotaxis in the Midwest.
This week on Autonomy Signals presented by @KPMG, @gbrulte and @RobGsix break down the ordinance, analyze California's new law requiring remote operators to be in the US, and discuss the @USArmy's new command for robots.

Pony.ai on @Uber is coming to London. 🇬🇧
Building on our live partnership in Zagreb, we’re working to bring Pony.ai’s Gen-7 Robotaxis to London.
Another step in Pony.ai’s expanding global footprint as we scale autonomous mobility in Europe.
Testing is expected to start in the coming weeks, and we look forward to working with local officials, and our partners, as plans progress to begin trials for self-driving vehicles under the UK’s frontier plan.
