Really glad that all of the Japan Airlines pax and crew seem to have survived the crash. But I'm not surprised to hear that it was an orderly evacuation. JAL is able to board widebody aircraft in 10-15 mins as pax are so considerate. Also JAL plays this every safety briefing:

Organizations should probably take a dive into what happened inside of their newsrooms for the first 12 hours, and really understand the points where things broke down. Because no matter what actually happened on the ground, the media response was poor.

So instead of burning coal at NZ Steel they'll use electricity...made from burning coal at Huntly. These initiatives only make sense if we increase renewable generation but yet to see any real plans.

#BREAKING I have just announced the single biggest action an NZ Govt has ever taken to cut emissions in Aotearoa! Lower carbon steel made with clean electricity instead of coal. This is huge. It will help kick NZ’s coal habit & cut 800,000 tonnes of CO2, every year.
