Blast from the past in R1 at Strath just then.... memories of when I first started punting in the mid 2000s, when you could bank on a well supported D Jolly 1st starter at Strath getting the chocolates!
Few seconds after the Nitschke and Tez says John Kelton tipped it! Surely that chat can wait and we can focus on the winning horse and connections!
Whatever came off Racing SA's idea for an Innovation Committee? Seems no further traction on this since Feb 25? Has the committee formed in secret and who does it entail? Hopefully the owners and punters are represented. If it hasn't formed, what has stalled it?
Going over Mondays replays, how good was the Adel Cup Day Crowd! Just as good was @TimEdwardsSA on the binos, absolute first class, told the stories perfectly with theatre and passion in each call. Up there now as one of Australia's best race callers.
Lord Reims was Sky 2'd, split screened for a few hundred metres then gone off screen not far past the line!
I never bet at Port Lincoln, broke that rule just now on La Petite in R1.... what a tough watch after missing the start trying to recover then get shuffled back, couldnt get a run to outside and still somehow nearly stole it, back in my hole!
