23 agosto 1927 a Boston USA venivano assassinati tramite sedia elettrica Bartolomeo Vanzetti e Nicola Sacco, la loro colpa quella di essere operai, italiani e anarchici. 23 agosto 1977 il governatore del Massachusetts, Michael Dukakis riconobbe gli errori commessi nel processo le falsità delle accuse basate sul pregiudizio e riabilitò alla memoria Sacco e Vanzetti. Per non dimenticare !

On this day in 1763 possibly one of the most important inscriptions in #Pompeii was found outside the Herculaneum Gate. It was to be one of 5 similar inscriptions dating to ~AD 76 found outside the gates of the city & was the first formal identification that the site was Pompeii.
