Last week we announced Ansa's second AI-adjacent investment of 2024, @DefenseUnicorns. A belief underpinning this new investment is our POV that 'model-centric AI,' which has dominated the early stages of AI development and seen amazing progress over the years, has true limitations.
In contrast, we believe businesses on the bleeding edge of 'data-centric AI' have sustainable competitive advantages - including reduced hardware dependency.

This is a local model running on LeapfrogAI hooked up to Slack with 30 lines of code, running a 7B chat tuned model at 60 tokens/second on the GPU on my laptop.
It was doing this while several others were asking questions (including long ones) and getting responses in parallel.

Yesterday I was on a plane with bad wifi, which somehow gave me the idea to package Zarf from @DefenseUnicorns into @wolfi_os!
The zarf tool makes devsecops easy in an air gapped environment and now you can use it in @chainguard_dev images!
