Dipping back in here after a looooong break. Partly to say I’m travelling with @LNER today and wanted to shout out to the professionalism of their people on what must be a very sad and difficult day to be at work for them
Including grant support from @CFTyneWearNland

Not my usual day in the office ☺️ Great to be at the launch of the #CivilSocietyCovenant today. Good to hear renewed commitments led by @lisanandy and cemented in a speech from @Keir_Starmer. Keen that we see work to incentivise and inspire community #philanthropy on the agenda
And great that #communityfoundations were well represented @UKCF_tweets (not pictured @richard_wi 🏴)
Team @CFTyneWearNland looking forward to joining later with our guests and announcing the winner of the environment social and governance award #ESG

Brilliant this was funded in full via @CFTyneWearNland from the unparalleled generosity of NE donors and philanthropists, and those no longer here with a passion for giving back.
It’s a year since the deliberate felling of the Sycamore Gap tree.
I still feel its loss when I walk that section of Hadrian’s Wall or see an image of it under the Northern Lights. It meant so much to so many.
But our great north community won’t forget. I can’t wait to visit the exhibition at @TheSillNland and hear where it’s Sycamore saplings land.
The tree was iconic, but it’s the connection between people and nature that will prevail.
Thank you @nationaltrust, @NlandNP and all this sharing ideas of how to keep this wonderful landmark alive.
Brilliant project @NlandNP Funded in full by @CFTyneWearNland through our generous donors and #NERoots initiative.

We should all be removing ourselves from here, right? I know we’ve been here before and tried different platforms, none of which did the trick. But it’s hypocrisy to condemn hate and violence while posting and scrolling on here? no? Is there a counter argument before I ‘delete’?
