I just tried to upgrade my grok bot usage — but didn’t. @cursor_ai just lost my upgrade because they added friction to a frictionless ApplePay transaction.
They required me to input my full address and that is not going to happen.
I know this may sound like a little thing but I don’t support added friction for data gathering purposes.
Poorly played. Please fix this. @elonmusk
Plans for "reinventing" downtown sound great.
Here's are a few ideas:
- more safety
- more commerce friendly policies
- less homelessmess
- less crime
- fewer zombie drug addicts roaming the streets.
We don't have to live in a filthy city of garbage, graffiti and the stench of urine.
These are consequences of the policies made by our leaders.
Many other cities do not put up with this filth. It is a choice. We don't have to live this way.
My hope is for the once beautiful Emerald City to rise again. I sincerely hope Seattle has turned a corner.
Today in 1988, Westlake Center held a grand opening party in Seattle.
The four-story, 120,000-square-foot retail pavilion and 21-story office tower became the center of retail in the downtown core.
Few blocks tell the story of modern Seattle quite like Westlake. Once a bustling crown jewel, it's now a (nearly empty) transit hub in a City that is currently reinventing itself.
🎯Well said
I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.
Watching car companies maneuver as the market shifts to 50% electric vehicles.
Not investment advice. 🤡
New orders for Apple’s iPhone Duo are already pushed out to January according to CNBC.
It is an interesting take on foldable phones.
I didn’t order at 5am today. Snooze you lose, I guess.
In January 2026, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) responded to Elon Musk on X by calling him “one of the dumbest people on earth.”
Elon: hold my beer
We are living in the future. This time and place are unique.
Witness an immigrant to America marshal his unique set of skills to forge the future right before our eyes.
The future is bright.🇺🇸🚀
Congratulations, Telsa and SpaceX.
These two electric cars, one French and one American are a proxy for differences in how we humans view the future.
Naturally, I gravitate toward the brash, bold, and optimistic future being built by Tesla & SpaceX. I am amazed by the technological advancements solving our world’s problems.
Some of us see a brighter tomorrow filled with wonder, opportunity, and abundance.
Others see a dystopian future of scarcity, decay and human misery.
The future is unwritten. Build the one you want to live in.
@Tesla
I ordered two of these dumpy looking Pods. I can’t say the product photos stand up next to those of the “sunflower on a deflated basketball “ iMac G4.
The Steve and Jony team are missed. Those two men relentlessly strove for perfection of even the smallest detail.
Back when had Apple “taste.”
Disney, Apple, Tesla/SpaceX. Three influential companies at different times in my life.
The secret to success was their founders’ ability to inspire teams to do their life’s work and the willingness to bet the company on hare-brained ideas.
A non-founder CEO does not have the same motivation.
You won’t find them sleeping on the factory floor, that’s for sure.
The story:
A man meets his tragic demise after climbing into the tiger exhibit at a wildlife park.
The tiger sees prey and the encounter doesn’t end well for the man.
The follow up:
A nation mourns, confused as to how this could happen.
Activists use the incident to promote their agendas.
Media capitalizes on the sensational story. Government opens an investigation.
Far away people in far away lands pontificate as if the story or their hot take on it will have any impact on their far away lives.
The next day:
Reset the particular facts of this story. Repeat.
This is social media. Recognize the pattern…
And continue to doom scroll.
