@dmepower 30 minutes ON isn’t long enough to bring indoor warmth levels back up to Federal HHS / HUD legal standards. DME is doing this incorrectly. You’ve got to leave the power on for longer stretches to help keep pipes from bursting and to keep residents safe.
“Rolling” outages are called that because they are meant to proceed sequentially, never the entire city at once. If we have 15 sub-sections in DME’s control, , there would likely be a two section rolling sequence so sections 1 & 7 off for 30m, then 1&7 back on, 2&8 off for 30.
