5 things we learnt from the latest episode of Potters Pod (official @stokecity podcast) with John Coates.
(Ok, you might have heard a few of them before, but probably not in this detail. And even if you have, it’s proper interesting, so humour me).

We’ve done another little spin-off podcast where he picks his all-time Stoke 11, and it’s probably better than this. He gets into it on another level.
Fair play to him.
Anyway, have a listen. It features a spontaneous quiz, a former Stoke City midfielder you probably haven’t heard from in a while, and football shirt nostalgia. What’s not to love?

Nice and interesting listen. Interview on Potters Pod with self-confessed 'very dull person' John Coates.

3 things we learnt about Aaron Cresswell in the latest episode of Potters’ Pod (the official @stokecity podcast)
Here’s a lovely little thread for you during the international break.
(There’s loads more than 3, but it’d take ages to go through it all) #SCFC
I remember Mother's Day. I’d saved up. I asked my dad what I should get my mam for Mother's Day present. She used to love Gabrielle. I got the CD. And that was like a full circle moment. To be in this position to get Gabrielle, have all our family together was phenomenal.’
He’s a really sound bloke. Proper down-to-earth.
With everything he’s done, you’d forgive him for being big-time, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
There’s also some absolute peak-Millennial chat in this episode, so if that’s your bag, fill your boots.
