I was a little bit poorly, but I enjoyed this conversation so much! We talked Communicate for Change and what would we be willing to give up to get to solutions for social justice? Looking forward to meeting you both in North Carolina one day!! @Rob3Shields @jesaverhart

We know people can be racist—and that reality is far too clear after witnessing the news on Ahmaud Arbery's death. But can a virus be racist, too? In the latest episode of @thepodcastjust, Jes & Rob dialogue about the lopsided affects of COVID-19.

We are releasing people from jail who are there for misdemeanors, we are preventing families from being evicted, we are sending people checks for food, we are giving the homeless places to live. We don’t have to wait for a pandemic to do these things, we should always do them.

We're not "coworking" as usual, but we are definitely still connecting! First ~virtual~ Town Hall is in the books. We're not totally sure what the next few months will look like, but we do know that it's better when we do it together 💛🐂

Ensuring a just future requires giving as much consideration to one group as another. We must honestly confront injustices of the past and present wherever they may be found. All people experience some form of brokenness and so do the systems that they create.
