Most satellite networks still route through terrestrial gateways and the public internet.
The @rivadaspace Outernet does not.
It operates as an independent orbital network — built for users who cannot afford to depend on someone else’s infrastructure.

As more accessible routes to space become available, so does the potential for what we can build, connect, and deliver from orbit.
For companies like ours, that means looking at space not simply as a destination, but as an environment where new infrastructure can be built to address challenges on Earth.
Rivada's #Outernet challenges the traditional assumption that data must return to Earth before it can travel across a network. Instead, data can move through space, routed across a constellation of interconnected satellites before reaching its destination.
This unique architecture creates secure and direct data transmission while reducing dependence on traditional terrestrial routes, creating a new approach to global communications infrastructure. Learn more at rivadaspace.com/outernet.

Mission-critical traffic belongs off the public internet. The Outernet is designed to carry it from origin to destination through space, independent of terrestrial networks and undersea cables.

When cables and data centers become targets, governments and critical infrastructure need a network that can work independently of them. The @rivadaspace Outernet is designed to keep traffic on a private orbital network, off the public internet, from end to end.
The networks of the future are being built in space. With the #Outernet, customers control both ends of the data path, and their traffic stays on a private orbital mesh from origin to destination, off the public internet.

The networks of the future are being built in space. The gateway-free #Outernet is designed to carry data rooftop to rooftop without touching the public internet, terrestrial gateways or undersea cables.
As launch innovation continues to expand access to space, new opportunities are emerging to rethink how critical communications infrastructure is designed and deployed.
For decades, communications networks have relied heavily on terrestrial infrastructure and conventional routing pathways. Today, advances in space technology are creating opportunities to build networks differently.
Rivada's #Outernet is redefining communications with a truly global space-based network. Utilizing a LEO satellite constellation, it creates private and resilient infrastructure that operates independently of traditional terrestrial pathways, providing secure connectivity for governments and enterprises worldwide..

The networks of the future are being built in space.
@rivadaspace is building the #outernet: a private orbital mesh that keeps governments, industry and critical infrastructure off the public internet.
This year's @WorldSpaceWeek theme is Rocket Revolution, celebrating how launch innovation is opening access to space to more organizations and industries than ever before.
The revolution doesn’t stop at liftoff 🚀 Reaching orbit is only the beginning.
We're inspired by what those advancements make possible. While rockets open the door to space, it's the technologies, services and infrastructure built beyond launch that create new opportunities here on Earth.
Follow along this week as we explore what #RocketRevolution means for the future of connectivity.

. @rivadaspace’s Outernet does what other global networks still cannot: origin to destination, without a third-party network in the middle. From anywhere, to anywhere, without the Internet. Fast. Secure. Everywhere. And gateway-free.
Designed as a gateway-less, laser-linked satellite network, Rivada’s #Outernet routes data directly from origin to destination through space without ever relying on third-party infrastructure such as ground stations.
Our network architecure enables secure, resilient, and low-latency global connectivity where traditional infrastructure can be challenging to deploy.
Connectivity is moving beyond the ground. Learn more at rivadaspace.com/outernet.
This is why @rivadaspace is building the world’s only gateway-free global data constellation.
Thankfully, (and it took a long time) there is awareness in governments and the general public about the serious risks posed to subsea cable infrastructure, even if the consequences of a coordinated attack on those cables is still not fully processed. I regularly see 'but Starlink' etc. Which displays a complacency, Starlink and every other commercial satellite constellation depend on subsea cables to connect their global network of ground gateways/relays, the type of gateways we saw subjected to a sabotage attack (in Poland) last week. All of the satellite constellations are tied to the internet and the subsea cables that are the arteries of the internet. That is one of the reasons why my team @rivadaspace @RivadaNetworks has spent major resources inventing and developing the technology for the space based #Outernet. This completely bypasses the internet, ground gateways and subsea cables. It creates a survivable global data-network that is ultra-fast and highly secure. Not for nothing is China waging an almost weekly set of direct and proxy actions against this mission. That said, we press ahead, the #Outernet (Built around the #Outernet1 ITU spectrum/orbital filing) is coming.

Tijekom razgovora s @declanganley, osnivačem Rivada Space Networks @rivadaspace i čovjekom koji stoji iza projekta Outernet, otvorili smo jedno od najvažnijih sigurnosnih pitanja današnjice.
Svega 550 podmorskih kabela povezuje svijet i čini okosnicu globalnog interneta.

In this @WSJopinion op-ed, our CEO @declanganley explores the significant untapped resource potential of Marie Byrd Land in the Antarctic, the world’s largest unclaimed territory.
Declan strongly believes that the U.S. should seize an opportunity to expand their sovereignty here, before the window closes, not only to secure long-term strategic and resource interests for defense, but to prevent rivals from establishing influence in one of the last unclaimed regions on Earth.
