The “just teach” crowd has no idea what teachers actually do, because, if they did, they would know that schools would not be able to function if all teachers did was just teach. I would love to live in a world where I only had to worry about teaching.

My non verbal son just said Ma for the first time. I was asleep and he yelled MA! I said yes? Next thing you know he ran to me and laid on me. The tears won’t stop. He’s trying to talk more and more everyday.
