We’ve got work to do. Geoff shares some more detail around where we missed with TFT’s engine migration and what we’re prioritizing in the road ahead.

So many ways to shine. Take a look at some of the cards lighting up #RBRadiance in Riftbound, dropping October 23.

I know there's been a few days now of community conversation about Koko Lopez. I wanted to confirm that Riot is aware and has been looking into the matter.
Bryce and I first chatted about this opportunity back in March when I was in the early stages of figuring out how to expand the team as I continued to help scale up other games like Riftbound.
Since then, we’ve had a lot of conversations about what the future of TFT needs and how we can take it into its next iteration of growth. I’m so excited to have someone like Bryce in the role who can deeply empathize with high level players, pros, and creators. Please don’t hold back in your chats with Bryce, he wants to hear it all!
IM BACK BABY!!! As of last week, I’m the new Global Head of @TFT Esports at @riotgames. Words can’t properly express how excited I am to return to this game and community I love so much, with the opportunity to make things even bigger and better.
Hey folks, on behalf of the TFT and Riftbound teams, I wanted to share a few thoughts on today’s Convergence Fest Attendee Pass General Sale.
With both TFT & Riftbound Communities showing up, we knew demand was going to be much higher than the number of passes we could offer, and we’ve been working on ways to make that experience better for players.
For our Riftbound players, this probably isn’t your first experience with us working through ticketing challenges this year. Over the last year, we’ve moved ticketing platforms multiple times, scaled up our Regional Qualifiers to nearly double the capacity of where we started in Houston, and launched the Showdown Series to create more opportunities for players to compete.
For Convergence Fest, Fan First was a new tool, and a big step for us. It was our first time using player activity, such as in-store & online play, to ensure active players got an opportunity to get tickets without having to race through checkout. That worked, allowing us to get thousands of tickets into players’ hands before the General Sale.
But we missed at the last mile today. The execution of the General Sale, an already-limited ticket offer, did not meet the experience we wanted to provide, and to make it worse, the things we said in the moment didn’t match the experience we delivered. We know there are a lot of players who really wanted to be there.
So here’s what we have planned next:
⏭️ We’ll have one final sale in November with any refunded tickets and any additional capacity we’re able to create. We expect this to be a small sale, and we’ll share more details on timing and availability once we have them.
⏭️ We’ve also started a larger effort to explore how we can take more ownership of ticketing and become less reliant on third-party platforms. It’s early, but we know there’s more we can do beyond Fan First to connect players with tickets and make these experiences better.
We know General Sale today was frustrating, and we’re sorry we didn’t deliver the experience you deserved.
For everyone who will be in Vegas, I’ll see you there. And if you’re around the Riftbound Regional Qualifier in LA this weekend, I’ll be there this afternoon and all day tomorrow. Please feel free to pull me aside, ask questions, or share your feedback. I’m always happy to chat and listen.
Thank you for all your interest, feedback, and care. We really appreciate you sticking with us and continuing to support our TFT and Riftbound communities.

The error has now been resolved! Fan First ticket codes should be working as intended, and attendees with a code can now use it to purchase their Convergence Fest tickets.
Thank you for your patience while we worked to get this fixed!
We are aware that some Fan First ticket codes for Convergence Fest are not working as intended right now. The team is actively investigating the issue, and while we work on a fix, affected codes will not expire or rotate.
If you’ve already received a code, your opportunity to purchase tickets is secured, so there’s no risk of missing out while this is being resolved.

As I shared over the weekend, and was included in today's #RQBarcelona Best-Of article, we are re-aligning how we and partners should refer to Best-Of prizes to ensure clarity about what is offered: playriftbound.com/en-us/news…
We’re seeing some conversations around the possibility of us working with PCG. We’re exploring and excited about the idea of working with them to have a booth at the EU RC to create a better player experience on-site. However, this is not yet confirmed and not exclusive. We do plan to share more about activities on site at EU RC more holistically in the lead-up.

Today’s Riftbound State of Play article shared our thinking and philosophy for OP going into 2027. We are going to share the more complete picture including prizing, qualification paths, etc. ahead of the European RC.
It’s great to see so many responding with excitement for the future of OP, but we also saw folks who still had questions so we wanted to address a few recurring things:
As a life long TCG player, your feedback and passion drives me and the entire team. Please continue to share your thoughts and feedback and we’ll keep working to make Riftbound that much more awesome to be part of.
PS - Preregistration for Convergence Fest tickets are open. Help us test this process: convergencefest.riotgames.co…
