“When I look back at this year, I see vibrant, chaotic, crazy, powerful and fun times, but one thing will always stand out to me and that’s my work with @righttowalkmcr." @emilysutton91
Low-level harassment is one of the most common forms of abuse that women are forced to face daily.
It can be intimidating, annoying, frustrating and even at times, triggering.
We’re so proud to support and advise @greatermcr on the #IsThisOK campaign.

We spoke to @bbcradiomanchester this afternoon - addressing just why the #RightToWalk movement is so important.
Tune in now to hear what we're setting out to achieve with @4EVERManchester

Sabina Nessa was a 28 year old teacher, described as "kind, caring, and dedicated to her pupils".
She was killed on Friday. She was a woman in a public space - and that simple fact made her vulnerable.
Nothing is changing. When will the Govt act?

This evening Andy & @DeputyMayorofGM Bev joined others in Greater Manchester and around the country to remember Sarah Everard and stand together against male harassment, intimidation, and violence.
Thank you @RightToWalkMCR and @aureliamagazine for the powerful event you hosted.

Tonight on @GranadaReports we're discussing plans for a virtual vigil in Manchester to put women's safety in the spotlight after the horrific disappearance of Sarah Everard. Organisers say they won't break the law but need action to tackle violence & sexual harassment 🔽
We're bringing people together in Manchester to stand with @ReclaimTS for a virtual vigil at 6pm Sat, 13th March. Support women's human right to safety on our streets as we remember Sarah & all of the women who face violence every day #ReclaimTheseStreets

If the High Court confirms that the Metropolitan Police’s understanding of the law is wrong and @ReclaimTS can go ahead lawfully we too will hold an in person vigil in Manchester city centre.
