NEW: @alextarascio and @ddkochel "both help Republicans win elections for a living. Over and over again, we see that talking to people about their priorities and taking their concerns seriously works. Telling them the game is rigged makes them feel powerless, so they tune out and find something better to do with their time."

Had the opportunity to meet with a large group of faith leaders this morning in Georgia. Lots of concern surrounding the upcoming election. My main message, we will have safe, fair elections. Don’t let anyone steal your joy of participating in our self governing Democratic Republic. “Be calm, keep your parishioners calm”. This election will happen. The people of Georgia will vote their conscience and the winners will be the winners. Turn out and vote!

See for yourself, Pennsylvania. Sharing voter registration information on a continuing basis gives the public a clear view of how voter rolls change over time. You can search by election district or county, or see the whole Commonwealth.
Today, the Pennsylvania Department of State launched its new public voter registration dashboard. The dashboard makes it easier for anyone to view voter registration activity by displaying trends in a clear and interactive visual display. Check it out: pa.gov/agencies/dos/resource…

There are practical steps the Administration could take right now to strengthen election security. We should prosecute anyone caught cheating and support commonsense safeguards like voter ID. That also means filling vacant Election Assistance Commission positions and strengthening CISA, not cutting it by a third while key leadership posts remain vacant. We should be looking forward, not backward.

Reminder:
Voter rolls are public records.
In most states, the public record includes: full name, DOB, address, political party, if you participated in past election.
If somebody were to unlawfully download this material, it would be, well, unlawful.
But it would not compromise an election in any way.

Again, every contest on every ballot in GA has been reviewed and compared to the election outcomes. Of the 1.11 million ballots cast, there were only 23 discrepancies…all 23 were on hand marked paper. Again showing hand marked is less reliable than Ballot Marking Device ballots.
An audit of all 1.11 million ballots cast in Georgia’s runoff elections found just 23 “discrepancies.” Every one of them involved hand-marked paper ballots. #gapol

A-factual reactions to Watson v. RNC:
1. "Watson would have fixed Cali slowness." Wrong. Less than 3% of Cali mail ballots arrive after Election Day.
2. "Now they can count ballots after Election Day." Wrong. Watson wasn't about election officials counting ballots after Election Day. It was about receiving ballots after Election Day.
3. "The Supreme Court told the federal government it can't interfere with state rules." Wrong. The Court didn't say that Congress can't impose a stricter deadline. It just said that current federal law doesn't do that.
4. "The SAVE America Act is now necessary." Wrong. The SAVE America Act, as it was passed in the House, had nothing to do with mail ballot receipt deadline.
5. "This opens the flood gates to fraud." Wrong. This preservers the status quo. And there is zero evidence to suggest that a mail ballot that arrives one day after Election Day is more likely to be fraudulent than a mail ballot that arrives on Election Day.
6. "None of this matters because USPS has said it won't return invalid mail ballots." Wrong. Even if Trump's second election executive order is upheld (doubtful), and even if the USPS proposed rulemaking moves forward, neither authorizes the USPS to withhold ballots based on return date.

The Auditor General of Pennsylvania recently audited 210,905 voter registration forms.
He found 1 non-citizen in that batch. That non-citizen never voted. And was later removed from the voter rolls.
