Because regionality used to matter on collegiate sports. Before winning a National Championship it only makes sense to also win your region. Conference realignment and the soon to be 24 team playoff will ruin whatever is left of regional importance.

Finally wrote about roster ages for BSB.
Wasn't surprised to find that Indiana ranked 33rd among P4 teams in estimated average age in 2025.
What may be most interesting to IU fans is how the age distribution changed from 2025 to 2026 (see chart).
