Corruption in #Colorado SHOCKER!!
The lawsuit claims those groups in charge of the signature gathering and certification process that got this measure on the ballot was done incorrectly with 9,849 signatures in question. If those signatures are revoked, the Amendment wouldn’t have enough signatures to be on the ballot.

Replying to @BusinessInsider
@BusinessInsider’s article out today shows @Uber’s net driver pay/work hr ranges from $3.18! (Orlando)-$21.87 (Boston). @Uber claims my analysis is “riddled with flaws”, but their own data filed by law in CO shows actual driver pay/active mi is even lower than figures I used businessinsider.com/uber-pay…

New from me:
@RideshareRodeo host Steve Johnson and I talk about how this New Jersey scheme should really be called “no-vote unionism” because 70% of rideshare drivers statewide could fall under union representation without getting a vote

With New Jersey's ABC Test rule taking effect today, it's a good time to share my testimony about this regulatory language before the U.S. Senate HELP Committee
This was last year. We were trying to get a federal law in place to protect independent contractors nationwide

A lot of drivers are taking bad advice from rideshare content creators.
Sitting in a parking lot for ten hours just to brag about making $50 per active hour while walking away with only $100 for the day is a losing strategy.
Accepting every garbage offer that pops up is not profitable either. The real value is in the middle. Stop wasting hours parked just to protect inflated per mile or active hourly stats.
Focus on maximizing total daily gross. You pay your bills with total dollars at the end of the month, not screenshots of vanity rates that leave you short on your car payment.

The way they write this stuff is so biased
Sectoral bargaining is not about allowing rideshare drivers to unionize
It’s about changing our laws so unions can gain control over whole sectors, like rideshare, without most of the workers even getting a vote
"SEIU Local 26 has begun organizing drivers around a campaign to change state law to allow drivers to unionize, although that largely depends on Democrats taking back control of the Legislature."
The unions want monopoly control, AKA sectoral bargaining.

I still can’t figure out how a $175 million renovation, new granite pavers, climbable trout, and a $100K rebrand to “16th Street” produced this many vacant storefronts on the MAUL.
Must be the cost of living.

A few years ago, @RideshareRodeo and I were actually approached about helping implement something along these lines by using rideshare drivers dash cams.
We looked at the idea, talked it over, and ultimately decided we wanted nothing to do with it. Turning rideshare drivers and their vehicles into a roaming surveillance network just didn’t sit right with us. Drivers already spend their entire day moving through neighborhoods, parking lots, businesses, apartment complexes, and residential streets. Adding another layer of data collection to that raised way too many privacy and ethical concerns for us.
There may be money in technology like this, but not every idea is worth pursuing just because someone is willing to pay for it.
We thought it was a bad idea then, and seeing where the conversation around Flock cameras has gone since then, I’m glad we turned it down.
