Peterson gon be better than Austin Reaves by the time those pick swaps happen, and better than Luka by the time the unprotected picks come in. And Utah might be better than the lakers right now. 😭
BREAKING: The Los Angeles Lakers are acquiring Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz for unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033 and first-round swaps in 2028 and 2030, sources tell ESPN. Kessler will sign a massive four-year, $130 million deal with the Lakers.

After a KenTheMan record that both Joe and Ice loved, Emanny called out their recent criticism of Megan Thee Stallion for putting out the same music over and over. He called them phony, since everything he'd heard Joe play from KenTheMan sounded the same.
Joe and Ice answered by putting on another KenTheMan song, one they said was different.
Emanny didn't buy it. To him it sounded just like the one Joe had played earlier, and he said they keep hyping records that aren't great.
Ice shot back that Emanny brings plenty of mediocre R&B to the show, but nobody says a word, so he should return the favor.
When Joe said you can't really judge a new act, Emanny pointed out that KenTheMan isn't brand new, and that they've judged new artists on the pod before. That made them hypocrites, he said. He added that he wasn't aiming at any one artist, but the "hypocrite" label had already landed, and Ice felt targeted. The tension in the room went up.
Ice and Joe argued it's not the same thing, because Megan has been making the same sound since 2017.
Emanny said that wasn't true.
Joe held that KenTheMan doesn't make the same music, and that she's a much newer artist than Megan anyway.
Emanny said they only pick the argument that suits them at the moment. Joe closed with a jab: if you're making the same music and it works, nobody complains, which implied Megan's isn't working.
By then everyone was heated. Joe tried to play another new record, and Emanny walked off, saying he didn't want to listen to that shit.
Ice fired back that Emanny's own music sounds the same, and Joe added that they've never hated on his music.
I dapped NXT up after this battle and said I thought they weren’t going to release it because of these car alarms that kept going off next door. Bro was like no way… this better come out. 😩 I doubt it was the car alarms for real lol.
I was Ben Simmons number 1 critic. I was out on him for not looking at the rim at the same time Philly started hating Fultz for not shooting which was within Simmons first 30 games in the league. All that said, he’s still better than Sabonis and Lavine, respectfully.

Probably the most nuanced discussion I've had with someone about the Apex.
I do acknowledge Andre's points here, but I still believe the Apex is a crutch that ultimately hurts the product.
That said, the recent upgrades to the Apex have greatly improved the experience.
"You and everyone else are so wrong about the Apex. I want you guys to keep shitting on the Apex so that people keep buying into that narrative, so more people don't want to fight there and I can keep fighting at the Apex.
I will fight at the Apex for the rest of my career with a big smile. I'm the Apex predator, baby. I'm the king of the Apex. That's home field for me." - @TouchyFili

They mad at Joe Budden because he was right and now they all have to become podcasters. Also the JBP can hold their own with no guest. Their B team with no Joe be cooking. So bragging that your show is held up by big guest is not a good sign. A lot of these hiphop podcast will fail. The connections are cute but how long can you interview the same people and say the same things? Nore is going through the same issue. Same guest and a dated formula because alcohol consumption is way down. I could talk about this for hours. I've been studying Ian and Joe for years.

The black executive in music is getting removed and replace systematically. Black women are the first to go in these industry lay offs. Which is the biggest mistake. Black women is where everything dope in the culture comes from. They are the culture. Smh
