But there is still NO credible confirmation that North Korea's leader has died.
Unverified claims allege Kim suffered a major health crisis, received treatment in Beijing and died, triggering speculation about a succession involving his daughter Kim Ju-ae.
Recent credible reporting, however, showed Kim publicly touring North Korea's new military museum just days ago.
What is confirmed today: his sister Kim Yo Jong says the border with South Korea is “very unstable” and Pyongyang is considering restarting loudspeaker broadcasts toward the South.
For now, the death story remains a rumor, while the sudden warning from Kim's powerful sister is very real.
