Oliver Lonie, 24, has walked free from court after receiving a two-year suspended prison sentence in a case involving 53 indecent videos of children, including 34 Category A videos - the most serious classification, involving child rape and sexual torture.
Lonie, of Fairfield Road, Salisbury, was convicted of three counts of making indecent moving images of children, relating to offences in Wilton.
He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for 10 years.
Despite the nature and volume of the material, Lonie will not serve his sentence in prison unless the suspended sentence is activated.
He is believed to have moved to Birmingham to be with family.
