Ms Rachel on Instagram 3 year old Maryam saw her mom burn to death by Israel
“Why isn't this covered in mainstream news? She keeps saying "| want my mom" & "My body hurts.”
I appreciate the double tag (?) but I’ve never said that “only lefties can win.” The political science is pretty clear that, in general, centrist candidates have a slight 1-2 point advantage over highly progressive candidates in most swing districts. That’s a real obstacle. (Though some of it comes from a historical money disadvantage.)
But I’ve also said that sometimes centrist candidates take unpopular positions to please their corporate donors — take Crowley struggling in Wisconsin because of his data center politics — that causes them problems. Look how badly he’s underperforming.
Hillary’s Goldman Sachs speeches are another good example. How her advisers allowed her to risk the presidency to cash in like that is beyond me.
So it’s not that centrist policies are by themselves always unpopular across the board. By definition, they ought to represent the center viewpoint (if such a thing exists). The problem is that centrist politicians are more likely to be corrupted by corporate and/or pro-Israel and don’t make their decisions purely based on what voters want. Then once in office, voters can sense that. Nothing gets done, and cynicism builds up — cynicism that also makes it difficult for left candidates to convince voters they’re not also lying to them. The answer to that is to run candidates not corrupted by big money who are actually free to deliver what they promised. Maybe that won’t work but it’s worth a shot.
Anyhow: care to release the identifies of CAP’s major donors?

Did you know this?
Did you know that Saudi Arabia bombed Yemen’s airports 227 times???
227!
They bombed EVERY airplane there.
So the self righteousness over the airport in Riyadh being bombed is rich.
@grok how many people did Saudi Arabia kill in Yemen? Be direct please.

How come you weren't appalled by the British supported Saudi / UAE Genocide in Yemen since 2015..? How come you weren't appalled by the British supported Saudi / UAE Blockade of Yemen that led to 80,000 civilian dying of Hunger..?Spare us your 'Liberal appalled'...
I am appalled by the latest attack on King Khalid International Airport, my thoughts are with those families who have lost loved ones, and those injured in this horrific attack.
We stand in solidarity with those affected.
We advise British nationals to avoid the airport, follow the advice of Saudi authorities and our travel advice: Saudi Arabia travel advice - gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice…

If attacks against civilians + civilian infrastructure are unacceptable, why are you still doing Business with an Israeli Regime carrying out a Genocide in Palestine..? Why were you silent when the Western backed Saudi / UAE Blockade caused 80,000 to die of Hunger in Yemen..?

But you had no thoughts for the 400,000 Yemeni Civilians killed since 2015 by the Western backed Saudi / UAE Regimes. Or for over 70,000 Palestinians killed by your 'like-minded partner' Israel since 2023. You are a total Hypocrite...
Houthis have once again struck Riyadh’s airport, taking three innocent lives.
My thoughts are with the families of the victims.
We stand in full solidarity with the people of Saudi Arabia and all our Gulf partners.
Attacks on civilian infrastructure are unacceptable.
Iran's proxies must stop their reckless and violent acts.

“May Gaza die, and all Gazans blow up.” An Israeli woman’s words in a street interview are chilling enough. But when asked about Israel’s situation, she admits that everything is going terribly, yet when it comes to who’s responsible for leading the country, she still plans to vote for Netanyahu again.
Even with everything going wrong, her support for Bibi remains unchanged.

October 7th happened entirely on post-1967 occupied territory. The same territory the entire international community calls upon Israel to withdraw from every year since.
Under the Laws of Belligerent Occupation, every time the IDF fought back on that day, it was a war crime.

Do you remember him?
The heroic director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya — a historic symbol of courage, resilience, and humanity, shaped by the days and the hardships he endured.
They besieged him, injured him, pursued him, and threatened him.
His son, Ibrahim, was killed in an attempt to force the evacuation of Kamal Adwan Hospital. Dr. Hussam buried his son in the hospital courtyard, refused to abandon his patients, and returned to continue his medical and humanitarian duty.
He even refused to leave Gaza, despite holding another nationality along with his family.
He stood with a strength that even mountains could not withstand.
A kind heart.
An icon of resilience and integrity.
He was arrested and subjected to abuse after his voice grew hoarse from pleading with a silent world until the very end.
Free Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya.
This is a photograph of imprisoned doctor Hussam Abu Safiya beside his son Ibrahim, who was killed while we were under siege inside Kamal Adwan Hospital.
Today, Dr. Hussam remains detained in Israeli custody, facing ongoing allegations of torture and abuse. His family and supporters say this is the price he has paid for refusing to abandon his patients and continuing to provide medical care despite the siege, bombardment, and danger.
He was a doctor who carried a mission — and he paid for his commitment to that mission with his freedom, his safety, and the life he devoted to serving others.
His wife has made an urgent appeal to the world:
“Save my husband before it is too late. His only ‘crime’ was saving the wounded and treating the injuries of children.”
🔹 Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, a doctor of humanity, behind bars for carrying out his humanitarian duty.
Do you remember Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya?
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, who remained beside his patients despite the siege, bombardment, and danger. He lost his son Ibrahim, then returned to continue his medical duty.
Dr. Hussam was detained in December 2024, and since then, there have been continued calls for transparency regarding the conditions of his detention and for his release.
A doctor who chose to stay beside his patients paid a heavy price with his freedom and safety.
Freedom for Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya.
Safety and protection for all doctors and patients in Gaza.

Some things the British media and political class have reacted hysterically to during Israel's genocide:
- The Maccabi Tel Aviv fan ban
- Bob Vylan
- Gary Lineker
- The Green Party motion
Something they have not reacted hysterically to:
- The genocide

Okay cool, I hate how Israel and its obscenely powerful lobbying groups are actively destroying civil liberties throughout the western world in an effort to stomp out all speech that is critical of Israeli abuses and atrocities.
Go on. Name one who does it worse. Just one.
