SB 379-What if the person with legal title to vehicle is different than who is controlling the automated driving system? What if the person with legal title to the vehicle is a shell corporation? What if it's a rental car company who has no idea how the system operates? #ksleg

Let your legislators know that automated vehicles should not be allowed on Kansas roads unless the companies that use them are fully accountable for any harm they cause.

One of the major issues that must be addressed before automated vehicles are allowed on Kansas roads is to clearly define who is responsible when a vehicle is involved in an accident. SB 379 does not clearly define who is responsible. #ksleg #kscourts

Kansas is one of a few states that limits the amount of benefits a worker can receive if injured on the job. The cap is $155,000 for the rest of that worker’s life, regardless of their age, severity of the injury, income status or the work they do. #ksleg #kscourts

It's a sad day for elderly Kansans. The Kansas Senate Judiciary Committee passed S Sub for HB 2244. It immunizes businesses and health care providers from responsibility for negligently causing harm. Encourage Kansas House members not to concur tomorrow.

SB 591 passed the House this morning & will go to the gov. We worked hard on improving this bill and had an amendment that would have matched the expectation from our senate negotiations. Debate was stopped w/ 5 members standing and waiting to speak. #MO families deserve better.
