In addition to legalizing the sale of mixed drinks, Ellerbe residents voted to elect Lee Berry as mayor. Berry is the co-owner of The Berry Patch, the iconic farmer's market off I-73/74 that is home to the world's largest strawberry shaped building. In addition to previously serving three terms as mayor, Berry was named North Carolina's sexiest collard farmer in 2023
Thank you @NC_Governor !!! – at Charlotte, NC
The first North Carolina brewery and distillery was built in Winston-Salem in 1756. I’m honored to celebrate almost 270 years of history with an industry that now contributes more than $2.1 billion to our state economy each year and supports more than 18,000 jobs.
