Hey Twitter, anyone with XQD cards ever experienced a bit of the casing vanishing?! Just removed a card from the camera and it looks like this! @sonyproeurope
To see all the winners of this years European Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards, step right this way -> gdtfoto.de/seiten/index_en.h…
Well that was a fun weekend spent at the GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards! It was a pleasure to be on the jury this year, catch up with friends, make new and see plenty of inspiring images. Now U.K. bound for a few days!
Just had the most fun weekend in Perth. I was kindly invited as keynote speaker for West Australian Photographic Federations, PhotoWest 2019 conference. Incredibly welcoming bunch! So many laughs and such lovely people. Amazing! 21 hour journey home now though 🦘
My favourite big cat has to be the leopard. The only thing that can top it, is a baby leopard! This one casually posed for us back in August. #MigrationPhotoSafari
And for two tweets in a day, I’m pleased to say this image taken in Finland was also selected for @montphoto 2019. A static subject, slow shutter and fast flowing river, combined with a high vantage point, worked a treat!
Hey Twitter! Back after a break with this hyena at sunrise. Also check out the back-of-the-camera shot, to see how close it compares to the actual capture (getting it right in camera is so important). Delighted to say it was also awarded in @montphoto 2019.
That annoying moment when, after being sat on the plane for two hours, you get back off and you’re in the same terminal and country as when you got on. #StuckInItaly
I’ll be at @ParkTweets in London, this Saturday, hosting a couple of talks at their Imaging Festival. Should you be in the area, head on down and say hello. More info -> parkcameras.com/imaging-fest…
Just out in Finland at the moment for a #NaturesImages Bear trip. Spending time with these very cute things, that dwell in the forests there, is very enjoyable! I do like a nice big mammal to point my D850 at!
Although I’ll use it primarily for video, I put the Nikon Z 6 on my 400mm last weekend on Skomer Island, and pointed it towards this puffin. #Z6
Just look how ridiculously adorable and fun puffins are to watch. And a big reason why I always look forward to spending time on @skomer_island each year! #30DaysWild
That amazing moment new firmware comes out, to improve low light & gives eye focus, the day before you go away! Update your Z series to firmware 2.00 here -> rpho.to/zseriesupdate
I do love first light combined with contrasting shadows. Especially with a leopard sighting! Moments like this make our #BigCatSafari’s, out in the Maasai Mara, all the more special!
