This was an absolute pleasure to do. The research I mostly talk about is freely available at doi.org/10.1016/j.ssmph.2023… , and would not have been possible without @jennapanter, @dbogilvie and @anthonylav.

Our new paper looks at the equity impacts of cycling investment in England. We found gender difference in the impacts of cycling investment. Age and socio-economic differences were less clear. doi.org/10.1016/j.ssmph.2023…
We conclude that potential gender differences in the determinants of transport mode choice should be considered in the design and evaluation of future interventions to promote cycling.
Thanks go to my magnificent co-authors @dbogilvie @anthonylav and @jennapanter. Anna Goodman was extremely helpful, as was Aly and the rest of the team at @celsiusnews who supported my use of the ONS-Longitudinal Study (again).
