The problem with our politics: I have friends who plan to vote Reform, I ask why, what do they want? They want funded NHS, potholes fixed, cost of living addressed etc., none of which Reform will deliver but the issue is I can't suggest another party to vote for who I think will.

I've had multiple letters and leaflets from Mr Farage, he seems very concerned I might decide not to vote for him. I can't help wondering however why he didn't answer any of my emails over the last two years?

The question of our future membership of the EU is for the voters of the future, not the voters of the past. In a rapidly changing trading and geopolitical environment, the terms of the UK’s engagement with Europe cannot be assumed to have been settled by a 52 - 48 vote a decade ago. Sunk cost fallacy as policy.
Wes Streeting, "The question of European Union membership is settled" "It's been settled by a referendum and a number of general elections" Labour have coined the phrase builders not blockers, but by keeping the UK outside of a Customs Union with the EU, Labour are the actual blockers to growth

Why is more not made of the fact that UK chose to give up **85%** of its (wholly reciprocal trading barriers free) *internal* market when it left the EU? Its internal market is now smaller that UK itself for GB goods sales & it is **never** going to offset this 85% loss elsewhere

There is a class war going on right now in the UK. The Farages the Badenochs the billionaires and the media oligarchs are trying to convince the working class that the problem is small boats. But the problem is the Farages the Badenochs the billionaires and the media oligarchs.

Jimmy Raskin, a US Congressman yesterday called my MP a "Putin loving free speech imposter & Trump sycophant" I can't criticise the Congressman because I agree with him! I'd email my MP to ask why he's in the US not representing me in Parliament today but he's never answered me.

Some good things in the budget. But - a v big But -: Brexit has: - Shrunk the UK economy by £140 billion - Reduced imports and exports by 15% - Decreased productivity  - Is predicted to cost 3m jobs by 2035. So: no matter how much lipstick you put on the pig, it's still a pig.

After the 2019 election I wrote to a friend: 'consider that 16.5 million voted for candidates of Remain parties and 14.8 million for candidates of Leave parties, the fraud that is FPTP hits you between the eyes like a mallet.' Brexit wouldn't have happened with PR in 2019.

Unless @Keir_Starmer #RejoinEU is part of this plan, the UK will continue to diminish. Your stubborn refusal to face reality is a dereliction of leadership. Econ demands it. Majority of people want it. There was never Maj for Brexit.
My government was elected to change Britain. Delivering on our five missions cannot be separated from events beyond our shores - Britain is stronger when we work with others. My message to the @UN today is this: we are returning the UK to responsible global leadership.

The problem Labour has is that it's trying to solve an impossible puzzle: how do you get the economy to grow, so you can raise spending and cut tax, without the EU? There is no workable answer. They have to grasp the nettle on Europe or continue sliding slowly down the pan.

FFS! It's not the Brexit DEAL that doesn't work, Rachel. It's BREXIT ITSELF! And staying out of the Single Market and Customs Union because of your idiotic red lines won't solve ANYTHING. #RejoinEU 🇬🇧🇪🇺
Rachel Reeves, "Exporters tied up in red tape by a failed Brexit deal" As long as the UK is outside the EU Single Market, there will always be red tape - unless I'm missing something?

Anyone else sickened by the insanity of UK media covering days of the Labour conference..without a single mention that Brexit's £400bn GDP hit overshadows EVERY other policy?

It is sort of amazing that over half the country wants to rejoin the EU and have another referendum on it in the next five years, but no major party is openly advocating for that to happen. Huge gap for someone to fill.
