As the heat of summer wears on, we’re excited to introduce the Hydro Heroes program at Little City! We all know the importance of drinking water for our health, and we need to encourage the individuals in our care to hydrate! We already have hydration protocols in place but wanted to bring some fun to the effort with educational posters, water dispensers, stickers, lanyards, T-shirts, and, of course, WATER BOTTLES!

It was an honor and a privilege to apply for a vacant Board of Education seat for Huntley School District 158. Although, my nomination ended in a tie vote, & I wasn’t confirmed, the process was respectful & invigorating. Best of luck to the newly appointed candidate!

Thx @HBODocs #FosterDoc 4 initiating awareness of trauma, inequality, & other social challenges inherently embedded in the lives of kids & families impacted. Just adding the workforce crisis is real, fewer social workers choosing this essential work due to high stress & low pay.
