First post in an age as I’ve disliked what Twitter has become. My “For You” feed is definitely not for me. I hope to see some of you on Bluesky -I’m @richeney.bsky.social.

Today’s the day. Let’s do this. It’s what this travesty of a government deserves.

Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

More than 4 million people under 25 aren’t registered to vote. If you’re fed up of being ignored by national politics do something about it: gov.uk/register-to-vote

Register to vote to take part in elections in the UK. Includes how to get on the electoral register and how to update your address on the register.

24 hours later and the sewage is still flowing in Chichester, the IOW and Lee-On-Solent 😡 No response as of yet from @IoWBobSeely or @GillianKeegan. Maybe today is the day for that strong-worded condemnation of @SouthernWater? We wait with baited breath.

LinkedIn is rolling-out additional free verification options for its members. One new method is "Work Email verification", currently available to 4,000 companies (around 50 million members). I've recorded a short video to show those who have access how to verify themselves:

My go-to YouTube channel. Great Azure content.

Yesterday I finished the v2 Azure Master Class. The complete playlist can be found at youtube.com/playlist?list=PL… and is over 22 hours of content! As always, no advertising or upsell, just help. I recommend using the GitHub repo at github.com/johnthebrit/Azure… which includes all the demo files used and 120-page handout with slides, links, whiteboards etc. along with further watching videos if you want to go deep into any specific area. Also created a release so you can just download a zip file of all the content if that's easier. Happy learning! #azure #cloud #microsoft #cloudcomputing #microsoftazure #azurecloud #youtubevideo #learning #azureadministrator #azurearchitect #microsoftcloud

The @Microsoft for Startups offerings are next level! I don’t think any incubator, accelerator, or other program on the market offering’s compare. They basically give you free access to all of their products and that alone is priceless for founders tbh. From GitHub to LinkedIn Ads, they have you covered! Thanks @919Akpuda for the plug and intro!

The fact that I can ask the new bing to summarize this kind of thing, and it cites all the sources... Honestly search will never be the same for me
I asked the bing chat what the different between pixel 6 and 7 was - it gave a summarized list, detailing size differences, camera differences, battery differences (And similarities), and more

ALT I asked the bing chat what the different between pixel 6 and 7 was - it gave a summarized list, detailing size differences, camera differences, battery differences (And similarities), and more

I asked bing chat "what if you was upgrading from 3 instead" and then it summarized the differences in that scenario (higher resolution screen, more mAh battery, more watts charging, etc, summarizing that the pixel 6 and 7 are much more powerful

I asked it to do the math showing me the exact differences I'd be getting from upgrading my phone from 3 to 6 or 7. It says: Sure, I can do the math for you. Here are the exact stat increases you would be getting from upgrading from Pixel 3 to Pixel 6 or Pixel 7, based on the search results. It summarizes them all in percentages

No. Just no. The government needs to reverse this decision.

We are dismayed, disappointed, and deeply concerned. UK Gov has just approved the use of a banned pesticide so powerful; a single teaspoon could kill 1.25 billion bees. This is a huge mistake. If we want to #DefendNature we must #SayNoToNeonics. 👉 wtru.st/say-no-neonics-again
