I’m a Rays fan— amazingly run team— and I want both a floor and a cap.
The lower-budget teams have NO room to make a mistake.
The Dodgers can give Kyle Tucker $60M a season, have him be a 0.7 WAR disaster, and still win 100 games.

So Nebraska loses to Indiana by 3
Unranked
Mississippi State loses to Alabama by 33
Ranked #16
AP Poll should be canned

Lemme guess, another dude from LA making dumb arguments as he knows when the cap comes their lil dynasty is over.

Al Harrington said the quiet part out loud years ago that still ends the GOAT debate today...
Jordan DOMINATED an era where everybody hated each other. 🐐
LeBron had to team up with other Superstars just to compete in the CUPCAKE era. 😂
There's always been levels to this. 🔥

"CHICAGO NO HUBIESE GANADO TITULOS"

Probably won’t be a popular take, but people are going to argue so hard that the league is fair if the Brewers beat the Dodgers.
Just because it happens once, doesn’t mean it’s fair.
4 times in the last 31 years a team with a below average payroll has won the World Series.

Hey @MLB - wanna get more kids watching baseball?
Maybe start with the commercials.
Watching the playoffs tonight with my kids and here's the rundown:
- Megan Fox selling ED pills in a red bodysuit
- The scariest movie trailer you've ever seen
- Sydney Sweeney in zero clothes promoting betting on sports
Leagues can't figure out why kids don't watch.
You don't need a Nickelodeon game. You're not the Savannah Bananas.
Just show baseball in a way I can leave on in my house.

He’s 100% correct btw.
The Dodgers paid Tucker/Diaz $50M for like a combined 1.3 fWAR
They paid Glasnow & Snell a combined $66M for just over 100 innings combined.
The Brewers have to maximize every piece of their org and win 103, the Dodgers can throw away millions essentially and win 100 games.
Thats the difference.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy says Milwaukee doesn’t have as much cushion as the Dodgers through the course of a season:
“We don’t have the luxury of maybe you have a guy that hadn’t pitched much and he’s going to make his debut in August. He’s a $30 million 2-time Cy Young winner or something like that. So we’re more desperate to play every single game.”

$15 starting bids for those cards 🤮
Please, please, please can people stop being absolute morons and buying from these people.
Absolute joke how he isn’t banned yet.
Josh, Dodgers have a larger payroll than Milwaukee, Cleveland and Tampa Bay COMBINED.
And we’re supposed to believe three small market teams reaching October proves the system is fair?
Fans want their teams to keep the players they develop. They want ownership investing in winning.
Is that unreasonable?
#RedOctober #RingTheBell #Phillies
Milwaukee. 40th TV market. 17th payroll. In playoffs for 8th time in 9 years.
Cleveland. 34th TV market. 26th payroll. In playoffs for 9th time in 14 years.
Tampa. 17th TV market. 19th payroll. In playoffs for 6th time in 8 years.
*All three are in MLB’s Championship Series this year.*
Pittsburgh. 28th TV market. 23rd payroll. Have missed the postseason 11 straight years.
The small market/lower payroll disparities are an issue in baseball, but it’s clearly not a total blockade.

AP Poll is so trash. Can’t wait for the CFP rankings.
◻️ Alabama (#6): Loses to Georgia and doesn’t drop a single spot because apparently SEC losses are worth something now 🙄
◻️ Texas (#7): Loses to Oklahoma yet stays in the top 10 while the team that beat them remains unranked.
◻️ USC (#19): Goes into Penn State’s White Out, wins, and doesn’t move a single spot.
◻️ UCLA (#12): Jumps nine spots to #12 while USC sits seven spots behind despite having more wins.
◻️ Kentucky (#15): Jumps 11 spots after a one-point overtime win while LSU plummets 12 spots.
◻️ Oregon (Unranked): Gets bounced from the rankings with two losses while two-loss LSU hangs on at #22.
This sht is a hot mess…

When LeBron James did this on the lakers, it would piss me off so much
LeBron would turn the ball over, never get back so he can cherry pick for easy points and if that doesn’t happen, blames his teammates.
I saw it for years on the Lakers
LeBron James doesn’t have that desire to win and it’s been like that for years, that’s why he picked a team that can win a chip without him.
Tennessee was tied with Arkansas with two minutes remaining in the game…
AND MOVED UP IN THE RANKINGS after that impressive game 🔥

This is so bad.
Ole Miss shouldn't be top 10. They have a blowout loss to Florida and LSU is not good.
LSU shouldn't be ranked.
Arizona not being ranked is criminal.

Let me get this straight…
Texas loses to an UNRANKED Oklahoma team, drops from #1 to #7, and is STILL ranked ahead of undefeated BYU at #8? 😂
Apparently an SEC Quality Loss™ is worth more than a Big 12 win.
