I can't believe it's been almost three years since I last updated Meta & Nilla's refs. Which is exactly what I said the last time I updated them! I guess now it's just a thing I do every three years.
ALT Visual character reference sheet for Meta & Nilla, featuring color palettes and character bios. Meta was a gangly nerd in high school and still kind of sees himself that way, despite his new broad shoulders and square jaw and chiseled abs. He can be a bit dim, but his love for Nilla shines through even his dark sunglasses. And rest assured, he's still a nerd. Nilla was a shy, reclusive nerd in high school, but has tried to reinvent herself as an adult. She's still a little too anxious and introverted to fully pull off the feisty punk-rock thing she's going for, but that hasn't stopped her trying.

such a tiny thing but I love they way they revealed both of these recent Capcom collections. if you know the games, the announcer saying "This one's gonna take you for a ride" and "This is gonna be a match to remember" sets the hype before even a millisecond of gameplay is shown
