Your mood edits your search results. When you're low, memory surfaces every piece of evidence that matches the low. The hits are real. The search is rigged. Psychologists call it mood-congruent memory. 🔍 #ClearEyesSoundMind #Depression

Comparison assumes you're behind in a race that mostly exists in your head. Everyone else is running a different course, on a different clock, toward a different finish line. Your pace only has to make sense for your life. 🏃 #ClearEyesSoundMind #MentalHealth

You can be grateful and still want more. Both are true at the same time. Holding two truths without picking one isn't confusion. In DBT, it's called dialectical thinking. - Rhythm Wellness 🌗 #ClearEyesSoundMind #DBT

The way back is smaller than the fear suggests: one honest sentence, to one safe person, this week. What's one sentence the performance would never let you say?

E: Easy manner. Softer face, unclenched jaw, slower voice. Your body delivers half the message before your words arrive. Pick one letter for your next hard conversation.
2
V: Validate. "It makes sense that you felt that way" isn't agreeing. It's acknowledging their experience exists, which is different from surrendering yours.

I: Interested. Be actually curious about their version, not performing listening while you reload. One real question counts.

G: Gentle. No character verdicts, no scorekeeping. You can be firm about the issue and gentle about the person in the same sentence.
