Objection: "If God has already chosen, why evangelize?"
Because He ordains the means as well as the ends. God saves sinners through the preaching of the gospel.
Election doesn't make evangelism pointless. It guarantees the fruit. (Acts 18:9-10)
The Lord's Day isn't a pause from real life — it's a preview of it. We gather, hear the Word, and rest, not because the work is finished, but because Christ's is. A Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God (Heb. 4:9).
You don't need a study Bible, a reading plan, or a commentary to begin. You need ten minutes and one chapter. Open to Mark 1 tonight and read it slowly. The Spirit works through the Word itself, not through your preparation for it.
The Lord's Day isn't a rule to survive. It's a gift to receive. One day in seven where the demand to produce goes quiet, and the Word is read, sung, and preached over you. You come empty; He fills you. That is the shape of grace.

Pastors, the best protection against slander is to give your people truth they love to cling to.
