"The world is the general name for all the passions... Someone has said of the Saints that while alive they were dead; for though living in the flesh, they did not live for the flesh. See for which of these passions you are alive. Then you will know how far you are alive to the world, and how far you are dead to it."

All public gatherings were banned in Athens under NATO vassal Mitsotakis to prevent protests during Marco Rubio’s ahistorical neocon clash of civilizations screed
Journalists were detained for hours simply for appearing to cover a banned demonstration against Israel’s genocide
This is the moment today when I and fellow journalist @Alexis_Daloumis were taken into custody by Greek police because we showed up at Freedom Park in central Athens to cover a protest against Israel's genocide in Palestine.
The protest did not take place because, in the early morning today, Athens police banned all gatherings in central Athens for the visit of the war criminal Marco Rubio.
We were not aware of the ban when we showed up at Freedom Park. Neither were the other four persons who were taken into custody with us (three Greek women and a young Palestinian man who lives in Athens).
All of us were taken to the central precinct of the Athens police and held there against our will for several hours. We were charged with no offence.

🔸 Synaxis of All Saints of Cyprus 🔸
Today, the first Sunday of October, we commemorate the Synaxis of all the Saints who have shone forth on Cyprus, the “Island of Saints”. From apostolic times until the present day, we know of 240 Saints from Cyprus - many more remain unknown to us. There are also many Saints which are only known to the Cypriot people, preserved by local tradition, which are not included in the official synaxarion.
For this reason, on the first Sunday of October is commemorated all the Saints of the island of Cyprus, both known and unknown. At the base of the icon we see the Holy Apostles Barnabas and Paul holding the Church of Cyprus. Saint Barnabas was a native of the island, and he is regarded as the first Bishop and founder of the Church of Cyprus. The two preached there together during Paul’s first missionary journey. Behind them we see Saints Constantine and Helen who founded the Stavrovouni Monastery (shown directly behind them) in 327 AD.
This monastery stands on the top of a hill called Stavrovouni (“the mountain of the Cross”), and derives its name because it is one of the few places which preserves to this day a piece of the True Cross on which Christ was crucified. Tradition holds that after Saint Helen found the True Cross in Jerusalem, she stopped in Cyprus on her return to Constantinople and left this portion there. Among the Apostles and Holy Fathers who preached on the island, we also see Lazarus of Bethany who, after he was raised from the dead by Christ, preached the Gospel in Cyprus and became the first Bishop of Kition (modern-day Larnaca).
A great Church in Larnaca dedicated to Saint Lazarus preserves his tomb and relics. This icon of the choir of Saints who laboured on the island also includes: Saint Mark the Evangelist, Saint Spyridon of Trimythous, Saint Neophytos the Recluse, Saint John Lampadistes, Saint John the Merciful, Saint Photini of Cyprus, Saint Epiphanius of Salamis, and Saint Philoumenos of Jacob’s Well. At the top of the icon we see the Panagia enclosed in a halo bearing several of her names/titles associated with Cyprus: “Machairiotissa”, “Kykkotissa” and “Trooditissa”.

They're trying to eliminate the control group since it reveals vaccines are all pointless and poisonous.
The Amish in New York are facing massive fines over Democrats vaccine mandates. Amish families will likely have to flee the state after losing the religious exemption they’ve had for decades
Amish private schools are being hit with crushing fines for not having students vaccinated
The fines are roughly $2,000 per noncompliant children, multiplied by the number of school days
3 small schools were sited, of the 59 children already cited, one more day of attendance brought the total fines to $118,000, they say they can’t pay it
New York Democrats position is that every day an unvaccinated child attends school there will be a fresh violation worth up to $2,000

Could it have anything to do with who he recently captured?
Spoiler: it was Benjamin Netanyahu‘s ex chief of security.

Allowing politicians to wear the mask of incompetence only lets them off the hook.
If the welfare of the nation was their goal, then they'd rightly be fools. But it isn't. They clearly serve a different agenda. Evil is going unnamed.

"In contrast to human and demonic pride, Orthodoxy represents humility; in contrast to human and demonic hatred, Orthodoxy represents love; in contrast to tangled opinions and teachings, Orthodoxy represents simplicity; in contrast to sloth, work; in contrast to the bondage of the passions, self-restraint, dispassion, and freedom; in contrast to human wickedness, goodness and humaneness; in contrast to faults, forgiveness; in contrast to oppressions and injustices, patience and justice; in contrast to angers, enmities, quarrels, and wars, peace - thus all spiritual powers, virtues, and soul-saving truths that bring joy, progress, and happiness."
