Twin City Marathon delayed due to warming race temps?...BUT..Here are the actual high and low temps for the last 50 years for the first Sunday in October: There is absolutely no warming trend since the race started. Dead flat. The story data shows its cooler later in the month. True as it was in 1776. but races haven't gotten hotter due to global warming.

So let's summarize:

Weiler: Jim Souhan trashes the United States Olympic Men's Hockey Team just so he can write 500 words about how much he hates President Donald Trump ... and the @StarTribune publishes it.
It takes a lot to standout in the Minnesota media cycle these days. In the city where @CNN defined "mostly peaceful" protests as riots that burned down multiple city blocks and ransacked a police precinct, and the @StarTribune headlined an article that @GovTimWalz was "Moving To Get Ahead of Fraud Issue" months AFTER it was determined over $9 billion dollars had already been stolen, ridiculous articles and headlines are a dime a dozen.
However, Jim and "Red Star's" editors managed to outdo their standard Anti-American, Anti-Men, Anti-Patriotism, DJT Derangement, Anti-Republican, Anti-Capitalism, Anti-God norms by trashing a bunch of 20-year-old Gold Medal Winning Hockey Heroes who just inspired a nation, all so they could express their hate for President Trump. And of course its Minnesota, The State of Hockey.
Jim, "I may not agree with what you have to say (or write), but I will defend with my life your right to say it (or write it)," I just feel bad for all Minnesotans who might mistakenly read it.... Voltaire-ish.

A reader recently told Alpha News they were shocked to discover that Penzeys Spices, which operates brick-and-mortar stores in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Lakeville, has a lengthy political manifesto published on its website blasting Republicans and accusing the party of “cruelty” and “racism.”
