40 years ago today, Samora Machel, Mozambique’s first president, died in a plane crash in South Africa. According to liberation war veteran Wilfred Mhanda, Machel and ZPRA commander Nikita Mangena trained together in Algeria. Their paths would cross again during Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle. A luta continua!

In 1976, under the heavy cover of darkness and amidst the perilous landscape of the liberation struggle, an injured Cde Tese Tese found a lifeline in Nurse Hamandishe—a brave soul who risked everything to provide medical aid in secret. For 50 years, Tese never stopped searching for the heroic nurse who saved his life. Now, after five decades of mystery, unanswered questions, and relentless searching, the long hunt is finally over. These guys seem to think they have a monopoly over ZANU-PF. Principles and values matter, and leadership should be guided by the ideals of the party and the liberation struggle. When the time comes to stand by those principles, let us not be driven by anger or personal interests. Instead, let us uphold the values and ideals of the liberation struggle with dignity, discipline, and respect.

Mhofu, I believe that the true value lies in the fact that these conversations are happening internally. Speaking truth to one another is non-negotiable; a principle that echoes the 2018 election promise of servant leadership.

Ridiculing someone's English pronunciation as a second language is not a flex my brother, it's actually exhausting. For context in Shona language, "L" is replaced with "R". It's not a big deal, it's just linguistics. Let's do better.

The guy messed up his opportunity to be President due to arrogance, self-centeredness, not knowing when to peak and a lack of political maturity. He has ruined his chance and it will not come again. He has made too many powerful enemies in his quest to step-over people and using them as stepping stones while pursuing his individual interests without mutual benefit. He will never be President. Bookmark this.
Here is the thing I do not think there is anything wrong with him wanting to become President In fact i would support it. What i refuse to support is the disrespect to our leaders & impatients Money will always bow to power on any given day Your turn was to come wani ?

Belittling your nanny, insulting your driver, humiliating your intern, yelling at your assistant on the phone on the drive to school, then being shocked that your child is bullying other kids at school is WILD Learnt behaviors. Children learn from observation

To add. Those who disappear are quick to reappear when you rise again. Worse in diaspora. Sadza Eaters will disappear like a fart as soon as you lose your job. @glenmpani 's story is a testimony of a lot here. When they reappear; run away 🏃‍♀️🇿🇼

If someone had to encounter Christianity through your tweets alone, would they ever want to meet your Christ? Some of us have 'Christ first' and various bible verses in our bios, but Christ is nowhere to be found in our tweets. 😭

Those who have ears, let them hear, the Minister of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle Affairs, Hon. Sen. Monica Mavhunga, is encouraging party members to desist from begging. Hard work is the way to go, and we must take advantage of the empowerment-based initiatives that the colossal @ZANUPF_PF party has put in place.

3I was not a member of his church, but his actions spoke louder than words. He was such a remarkable human being. That is the calibre of pastor and servant of God that is becoming increasingly difficult to find these days.

We must prepare ourselves in the absence of South African Economic dominance in Zambia. Our grocery stores, coffee shops, eating places in malls, they are proudly South African. We must create Zambian Businesses independent from SA dominance. Lets place trust in ourselves !!
