WE FUCKING KNOW
WE WERE PART OF THE GENERATION THAT PLAYED ON NEW GROUNDS, FREE ONLINE GAMES .COM, BUBBLE GAMES, AND ARMORED GAMES
WE SAW FILTHY FRANK, PRIME PEWDIEPIE, AND YOGSCAST ON YOUTUBE
WE SAW IT ALL TAKEN AWAY FROM OUR VERY EYES
So if I understand this correctly, Riot has decided that it's only worth it to share money with 4 teams playing in VCT (in NA at least) and not all of them, because...?
At first glance this just looks like Riot greed and laziness lol
To clarify
Riot changed the way Valorant works so that any team can make/win an international tournament
But they chose 4 teams in NA to become partners
They give those teams millions of $$ AND a skin in the game (they get a percentage of sales)
If an unpartnered org builds a moneyball team that absolutely crushes at an international event- those players will be poached by a partnered org
It happened to us with Brawk and Mada going to NRG it is happening to C9 who just lost partnership and already letting their players shop around
I just don't know if it is worth competing in the esport long term as compared to investing into an esport with a truly open system

I'm thinking of Carney Maxxing at work
- Bankers haircut / no facial hair
- Wear only nice suits
- "If I may"
- Demand British spelling in all correspondence
- Get the promotion that the other guy really wanted & make him seethe everyday
I LOVE CS2 BABY
